Junior Basketball - Otago Junior Secondary Schools Champions for 2025
Our Waitaki Boys' Junior Basketball team are the Otago Junior Secondary Schools Champions for 2025, after a thrilling 57–52 win over Trinity College in the final in Dunedin!
We trailed for most of the game, but showed incredible fight and composure to take the lead in the 4th quarter – and never looked back.
Standout Performances:
Boston Cathcart – 21 points
Mason Matthews – 16 points
Maddix Curry – 15 points (also named in the All-Star Five)
