The Mackenzie Mountain Bike Ride
Congratulations to Henry Ward, Daniel Clarke and Mason Kingan on their completion of The Mackenzie mountain bike ride.
It was a stunning day around Lake Tekapo in ideal conditions.
Henry completed the 93km ride on his own in a fantastic ride time of just over 5 hours. It had several river crossings and nearly 1000m of elevation gain.
Daniel and Mason were teammates for the 74km relay event. Daniel navigated through the river crossings and biked the first leg and Mason completed the second leg along Lilybank Road back into Tekapo. Boys were first team over the finish line in a time of 3hrs38
