Red and Black Awards

Red awards are for students that are competing and achieving at an incredibly high level for eg: Otago, South Island or NZ in senior competitions.

Black awards are awarded to students who represent the school over the season in our senior first teams.

Juniors competing in senior events or teams are entitled to red & black awards.

Juniors competing in junior events can be awarded black awards in exceptional circumstances.

All of these boys being acknowledged also need to have displayed our Waitakian values as well as sportsmanship, commitment & motivation.
